Philly FABB has just launched and bloggers are buzzing. The exclusive network for premiere fashion & beauty bloggers of the Philadelphia area held its kickoff event, The Blogger Blowout Bash, last night on Nov.1st, 2012. Hosted at the award-winning Andre Richard Salon, area bloggers got complementary blowouts and makeup applications while enjoying delicious Greek appetizers from Opa, a top Philly restaurant with national recognition for their excellent cuisine.
The meeting of fashionable minds included mingling, mini cupcakes from Cupcakes by Vickie, and even a DIY bauble bar hosted by Simply Adeline. The intimate affair gave bloggers VIP treatment while getting to know each other over gel manicures by doorBella and personalized branding sessions with Bad Rhino Social Media.
Those in attendance included Andrea Thatcher from The Fashion Spot, Daneen Baird of Spoiled Pretty, and Philadelphia Inquirer Columnist and blogger Elizabeth Wellington, to name a few.
FABB Founders Jessie Holeva of Trend Hungry & The Style Darling‘s Lauren Mantilla greeted guests while spreading the message of their newfound network. “We strive to create rewarding relationships, highlight the Philadelphia fashion & beauty scene, and provide a community for ambitious bloggers to grow themselves and their brand,” said Holeva. Mantilla agreed and was thrilled to see Philly FABB members meeting and learning from one another.
After a night of networking, pampering, and blogger education, Philly FABB ladies walked away with luxe gift bags with items from Andre Richard’s new product line ARS, Simply Adeline handmade jewelry, Fly Tie hair ties from Fine Featherheads, newly debuted Dermablend primers and much more. Bags also included accessories from Nich boutique, Monroe and Main, Midnight Velvet and plus-size fashion destination Sonsi.
Philly FABB’s next event will be after the new year, and the network is very grateful for their kickoff’s success. Stay tuned for more from FABB.
